Setup Instructions

  1. Attach the base stand to the LCD monitor.
  2. Connect the appropriate video signal cable (DVI, VGA, or DisplayPort) and power cord.
  3. Turn on the monitor and computer. The monitor will automatically adjust.
  4. Adjust height, tilt, and swivel as needed.
  5. For advanced settings, use the OSD (On-Screen Display) controls.

Basic Operation

  • Use the front buttons to access the OSD menu for adjustments (Brightness, Contrast, etc.).
  • Press SELECT to change signal input.
  • Press RESET/ECO MODE to change ECO MODE or reset settings.
  • Press POWER to turn the monitor on or off.

Maintenance

  • Clean the LCD panel gently with a soft cloth.
  • Clean the cabinet with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No picture Signal cable not connected properly. Ensure signal cable is fully connected to the display card/computer and monitor.
Display card not seated properly. Ensure the display card is fully seated in its slot.
Computer power switch is off. Turn on the front power switch and the computer power switch.
Unsupported mode selected. Check if a supported mode is selected on the display card or system. Consult your display card/system manual.
Compatibility issues. Check monitor and display card compatibility and recommended settings.
Bent or pushed-in pins on signal cable connector. Check the signal cable connector for bent or pushed-in pins.
IPM mode active (front LED dark blue). Check IPM mode status (see page 12).
Power Button does not respond Unplug the monitor's power cord from the AC outlet to turn off and reset.
Image Persistence Constant images displayed for a long period. Turn off the monitor for as long as the previous image was displayed. Use moving images or screensavers.
Message "OUT OF RANGE" displayed (screen blank or rough images) Signal clock or resolution too high. Choose one of the supported modes.
Signal frequency out of range. Choose one of the supported modes.
Image is unstable, unfocused or swimming Signal cable not fully attached. Ensure the signal cable is completely attached to the computer.
Incorrect fine adjustment. Use OSD Image Adjust controls (Fine) to adjust. May need re-adjustment after changing display mode.
Compatibility or timing issues. Check monitor and display card compatibility and recommended signal timings.
Interlaced video mode or incorrect refresh rate. Change to non-interlace and use 60Hz refresh rate.
LED on monitor is not lit (no blue or amber colour) Power switch off or power cord disconnected. Ensure Power Switch is ON and power cord is connected.
Picture is not as bright ECO MODE is ON. Turn ECO MODE OFF.
AUTO BRIGHTNESS is ON. Turn AUTO BRIGHTNESS OFF.
Display image is not sized properly Incorrect H. SIZE adjustment. Use OSD Image Adjust controls to increase or decrease H. SIZE.
Unsupported mode selected. Check if a supported mode is selected on the display card or system. Consult your display card/system manual.
No Video Computer in power-saving mode. Touch the keyboard or mouse.
Video card behavior with DisplayPort. Some video cards do not output video signal when monitor is turned OFF/ON or disconnected/connected from AC power cord under low resolution with DisplayPort.
No Sound Speaker cable not connected. Ensure speaker cable is properly connected.
Mute is activated. Check if mute is activated.
Volume is too low in OSD menu. Check the volume in the OSD menu.
Brightness difference during multiple monitor usage Auto Brightness is ON. Change Auto Brightness to OFF and adjust brightness manually.
