Quick Start

  1. Turn off the power to your computer.
  2. Connect the appropriate video signal cable (DVI, D-Sub, or DisplayPort) to your computer and the monitor.
  3. Adjust the monitor height, tilt, and swivel for optimal viewing.
  4. Connect other cables such as USB and audio if applicable.
  5. Organize cables using the built-in cable management system and cable cover.
  6. Connect the power cord to the monitor and a power outlet.
  7. Turn on the monitor and computer.
  8. The monitor may perform an Auto Adjust. Further adjustments can be made using the OSD controls.

Monitor Adjustments

  • Raise and Lower Monitor Screen: Place hands on each side and lift or lower to the desired height.
  • Tilt and Swivel: Grasp both sides and adjust the screen as desired.
  • Screen Rotation: Raise the screen to its highest level, then turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to rotate.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No picture
  • Signal cable not completely connected.
  • Monitor does not support DisplayPort converter signal.
  • Display card not fully seated.
  • Power switches are off.
  • Unsupported mode selected on display card.
  • Compatibility issues between monitor and display card.
  • Bent or pushed-in pins on signal cable connector.
  • Check IPM mode if front LED is dark blue.
Power Button does not respond
  • Unplug the monitor's power cord from the AC outlet to reset.
Image Persistence
  • LCD technology may show a "ghost" image. This is not permanent.
  • Avoid displaying constant images for long periods.
  • To alleviate, turn off the monitor for as long as the previous image was displayed.
  • Use moving images or screen savers.
"OUT OF RANGE" message displayed
  • Signal clock or resolution is too high. Choose a supported mode.
  • Signal frequency is out of range. Choose a supported mode.
Image is unstable, unfocused or swimming
  • Signal cable not completely attached.
  • Use OSD Image Adjust controls (Fine) to focus.
  • Check monitor and display card compatibility and timings.
  • Change video mode to non-interlace and use 60Hz refresh rate if text is garbled.
LED on monitor is not lit
  • Power Switch is ON and power cord is connected.
Picture is not as bright
  • Ensure ECO MODE and AUTO BRIGHTNESS are OFF.
  • Turn AUTO BRIGHTNESS OFF if it fluctuates.
Display image is not sized properly
  • Use OSD Image Adjust controls (H. SIZE) to increase or decrease size.
  • Ensure a supported mode is selected on the display card.
No Video
  • Computer may be in power-saving mode.
  • Some video cards may not output video when monitor is turned OFF/ON or connected/disconnected from AC power under low resolution with DisplayPort.
No Sound
  • Speaker cable is properly connected.
  • Check if mute is activated.
  • Check volume in OSD menu.
  • Select "SOUND INPUT" in OSD Tools if using DisplayPort.
Brightness difference during multiple monitor usage
  • Turn Auto Brightness to OFF and adjust brightness manually.
  • Auto Brightness adjusts to ambient light, causing differences if conditions vary.
