| Cannot register a handset to the base | Interference from other electrical equipment. | Ensure you are at least one metre away from other electrical equipment. |
| Handset does not ring | Ringer volume set to Off. | Adjust the handset ringer volume. |
| Handset does not ring | Do Not Disturb is turned on. | Turn off Do Not Disturb. |
| Noise interference | Proximity to electrical appliances. | Place your E2 at least one metre away from electrical appliances or metal obstructions. |
