GPS Receiver Operation

The M12 Oncore is a highly integrated single board GPS receiver module designed for automotive applications. It tracks the NAVSTAR GPS constellation using 12 parallel channels of L1, C/A code. The receiver downconverts satellite signals, digitally processes them, and provides a navigation solution including position, velocity, time, and heading via a serial link. It supports differential operation with Motorola binary corrections and RTCM SC-104 input. The module features an antenna sense circuit, a real-time clock for faster time-to-first-fix, and user-definable datums. It can output data in NMEA 0183 format and accepts various Motorola binary commands for configuration and control.
