Powering On/Off:

  1. Connect the power cord firmly.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Power can not be turned on. Check indicator status. Plug power cord into outlet. Remove obstructions from air inlet/outlet. Check filter status. Wait for STATUS indicator to stop blinking. Replace light source lamp. Attach lamp cover, filter cover, roll-up filter, and lens. Contact dealer if issue persists.
No image appears on the screen. Press BLANK button. Check lens cap is removed. Wait for lamp to light up. Check if fans are running and POWER button is functional. Set SCART INPUT to OFF. Check intake vent. Check cables. Extend extension cable with RGB signal amplifier if needed. Remove obstructions blocking intake/exhaust vents. Reset projector. Replace lamp if STATUS indicator is steady red. Check AUTO POWER OFF setting. Replace lamp if deteriorated.
"NO SIGNAL" is displayed. Set password function in FEATURE menu to DISPLAY INPUT to enable password lock, or contact administrator. Turn on the connected device or check for issues. Check external device output signals. Ensure cable is not defective. Check projector connection terminals. Verify correct input source is selected. Use supplied cable or RGB signal amplifier for extension cables.
Projected images are shaking. Check for intermittent cable connection. Connect cable plugs firmly. Use AUTO POSITION button. Adjust SIGNAL menu.
Projected images are displaced. Check for wind from exhaust vents. Adjust projector and screen perpendicularly. Adjust BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. Replace lamp. Reduce temperature if ambient temperature is high.
Projected images are distorted. Adjust focus. Clean lens. Use arrow buttons to eliminate flicker. Adjust TRACKING and FINE SYNC. Adjust BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. Adjust projector and screen perpendicularly.
Projected images are dark. Adjust BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. Replace lamp. Decrease temperature if ambient temperature is high.
Projected images are blurred. Adjust focus. Clean lens. Use arrow buttons to eliminate flicker. Adjust TRACKING and FINE SYNC. Adjust BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. Adjust projector and screen perpendicularly.
Afterimages persist on the screen. Project an evenly bright image. (Avoid stationary images for long periods.)
Red, blue, and green dots appear in projected images. Black dots appear in projected images. This is a characteristic of LCD projectors; not a malfunction.
Fine streaks are seen on projected images. Replace screen or adjust focus slightly.
Projected images become wavy. Enable LPF if using DVD player or game console. Connect cables securely. Keep projector away from devices emitting radio waves. Readjust keystone correction to be as small as possible if it causes display issues.
Hue is not appropriate. Tint in projected images is incorrect. Different color tint. Check that cables are not broken. Set COMPUTER INPUT in SIGNAL menu correctly. Check that cable to external device isn't broken. Differences in color tint may occur due to optical component variations or color reproducibility ranges.
Only the motion areas in the images supplied from the computer aren't displayed. Contact computer manufacturer.
Projected images are obscured. Match computer output resolution to projector resolution. Use projector without keystone adjustment. Set SUPER RESOLUTION to OFF. Decrease OVER SCAN setting if noise appears around recorded images.
The exhaust vents emit warm air. This is normal for cooling.
No audio is output. Check volume. Set audio output to PCM for HDMI connection.
The menu can't be used. Restart projector by unplugging power cord and plugging it back in after 10 minutes.
"TEMPERATURE!!" is displayed. Ambient temperature is high. Eliminate causes of temperature rise. If air inlet/outlet grilles are blocked, remove obstructions.
The Ⓢ mark appears. Indicates ineffective operation, not a malfunction. Check batteries in remote control. Ensure remote sensor is not exposed to sunlight. Use remote control within operation range. Match CONTROLLER ID with PROJECTOR ID. Remove terminal cover if attached.
The buttons on the projector (except for the POWER button) don't function. Set PASSWORD FUNCTION to MENU ACCESS to enable password lock. Cancel password lock or contact administrator.
FOCUS/ZOOM doesn't work. Lens shift doesn't work. Check that LENS LOCK in the INSTALLATION menu isn't ON.
The projector does not turn on (after lamp replacement). Fit lamp cover securely. Reset lamp operating time.
The STATUS indicator illuminates red (after lamp replacement). Reset lamp operating time.
