Power-on

  1. Turn on the device connected to the projector first.
  2. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet.
  3. Press the POWER button on the control panel or the ON button on the remote control. The lamp may take about one minute to light up.
  4. Adjust the focus by turning the focus ring.
  5. Choose your desired external input source using the COMPUTER, VIDEO or HDMI button.
  6. Adjust the image size by turning the zoom ring. If necessary, adjust the focus and zoom again.

Power-off

  1. Press the POWER button or STANDBY button on the remote control.
  2. Press the POWER button or STANDBY button again within 10 seconds. The lamp will go out and the STATUS indicator will start blinking. Air outlet fans continue operating for one minute to cool down the lamp.
  3. Unplug the power cord.

Instant Shut Down

You can turn off this projector by unplugging the power cord without pressing the POWER button. Do not shut down while the STATUS indicator is blinking.

Volume

Press the VOLUME or button to change the volume. The volume control bar will appear on the screen.

AV Mute

Press the AV MUTE button to temporarily mute video and audio. Press again to cancel.

Aspect Ratio

Press the ASPECT button to cycle through NORMAL, 16:9, and FULL aspect ratios.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No image appears on the screen. Check indicators. Connect power cord. Remove obstructions from air inlet/outlet grilles. Ensure lamp cover is closed. Replace lamp if necessary.
Power can not be turned on. Connect power cord. Remove obstructions from air inlet/outlet grilles. Ensure projector has cooled off. Press POWER button.
Power turns off. Remove obstructions from vents. Ensure projector is not near a heat source. Wait for fan to stop, unplug, wait 10 minutes, plug in, press POWER. Replace lamp if STATUS indicator is steady red.
The screen for entering the password appears. Enter password or contact administrator.
"NO SIGNAL" is displayed. Turn on connected device. Check external device output. Check cable connection. Ensure correct terminals are used. Select correct input source. Use supplied cable or RGB signal amplifier.
Images are not displayed correctly. Check cable connections. Ensure projector and screen are perpendicular. Adjust brightness/contrast. Clean lens. Adjust focus. Check tracking/fine sync. Re-adjust keystone. Check computer output resolution.
The exhaust vents emit warm air. Normal operation after cooling.
No audio is output. Check volume. Check AUDIO INPUT setting. Set audio output to PCM for HDMI connection. Restart projector after unplugging power cord.
The menu can't be used. Restart projector after unplugging power cord.
"TEMPERATURE!!" is displayed. Remove obstructions from vents. Relocate projector to cooler place.
The mark appears. This indicates ineffective operation. No malfunction.
The remote control doesn't function easily or at all. Check batteries. Check for direct sunlight/fluorescent light interference. Operate within range. Keep remote 10cm away from projector.
The buttons on the control panel (except for the POWER button) don't function. Cancel password lock or contact administrator.
Abnormal sound is heard. Rare metallic sounds are normal due to high-speed spinning color wheel.
