Powering On/Off: Use the POWER button on the remote or monitor. Ensure main power switch is ON.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No picture Signal cable not securely connected. Display card not seated properly. Main power switch or computer power switch OFF. Incorrect mode selected on display card/system. Incompatibility between monitor and display card. Bent or pushed-in pins on signal cable connectors. Securely connect signal cable. Ensure display card is seated. Turn on power switches. Power button does not respond Monitor is off. Unplug the power cord to reset the monitor.
Image persistence Displaying static images for long periods. Turn off the monitor for the duration the image was displayed. Use moving images or screen savers. Turn off the monitor when not in use.
Image is unstable, unfocused or swimming Signal cable not securely attached. Securely attach signal cable.
Incorrect OSD Image Adjust settings. Use OSD Image Adjust to fine-tune focus and display. Re-adjust if display mode is changed.
Incompatibility or incorrect signal timings. Check monitor and display card compatibility and signal timings.
Incorrect video mode. Change to non-interlace mode and use 60 Hz refresh rate if text is garbled.
Image of component signal is greenish YPbPr input connector not selected. Select the YPbPr input connector.
LED on the monitor is not lit Power Switch OFF. Computer in power-saving mode. Turn Power Switch ON and connect power cord. Wake computer from power-saving mode.
RED LED on the monitor is blinking Failure may have occurred. Contact authorized MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC service facility.
Displayed image is not sized properly Incorrect OSD Image Adjust settings. Incorrect mode selected on display card/system. Use OSD Image Adjust for coarse adjustment. Consult display card/system manual for graphics mode.
Selected resolution is not displayed properly Incorrect resolution selected in OSD Display Mode. Use OSD Display Mode to check and select the appropriate resolution.
No sound Speaker cable not connected. Mute is activated. Volume set to minimum. Connect speaker cable. Deactivate mute. Adjust volume to audible level.
Wireless remote control is not available Low batteries. Batteries inserted incorrectly. Remote not pointed at sensor. Check battery status. Insert batteries correctly. Point remote at monitor's remote sensor.
"SCHEDULE"/"OFF TIMER" function is not working properly SCHEDULE disabled when OFF TIMER is set. OFF TIMER reset if power interrupted. Check function settings. Ensure uninterrupted power supply for OFF TIMER.
