Starting a Wash Programme:

  1. Sort laundry by colour and care label.
  2. Switch on the machine.
  3. Load the drum loosely.
  4. Select the desired programme using the programme selector.
  5. Adjust temperature and spin speed if necessary using the respective buttons.
  6. Select any desired extra options (e.g., Pre-wash, Extra quiet).
  7. Add the correct amount of detergent to the dispenser drawer.
  8. Press the Start/Stop button to begin the programme.

After the Wash:

  1. Once the programme is finished (indicated by 'Finish' and '0:00' on the display), wait for the drum to stop completely.
  2. Press the Door button to open the door.
  3. Remove laundry, checking for any items left behind.
  4. Switch off the machine using the On/Off button.
  5. Close the drum door.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The programme does not start The door is not closed properly. Close the door.
The Start/Stop button has not been pressed. Press the Start/Stop button.
The water tap is turned off. Open the water tap.
Fault messages in the display See 'Fault messages' section. Follow the instructions in the relevant section.
General problems The washing machine is not connected to the electricity supply. Check the plug and fuse.
The fuse has tripped. Check the fuse. If it trips again, call a qualified electrician.
An unsatisfactory wash result Too little detergent used. Increase the amount of detergent.
Incorrect programme selected. Select a more intensive programme.
The drum door does not open when you press the Door button. The door lock is still engaged. Wait for the door lock symbol to go out.
Opening the drum door in the event of a blocked drain outlet and/or power failure. Refer to section 'Blocked drain outlet'. Follow the specific instructions for emergency door opening.
Blocked drain outlet The drain hose is kinked or blocked. Straighten the drain hose or clean it.
The water pump filter is blocked. Clean the water pump filter.
