Warranty Information

One-year warranty for the complete vacuum cleaner, with exceptions for certain components.

Turning the Vacuum Cleaner On and Off

Press the On/Off foot control.

Regulating the Suction Power

Suction power can be adjusted using footswitches, with symbols indicating suitability for different floor types (Curtains, fabric; Upholstery, cushions; Deep pile carpets, rugs and runners; Energy-saving vacuuming; Loop pile carpet and rugs; Hard flooring and heavily soiled carpets and rugs). Models may also feature Auto (automatic adjustment) or Soft Carpet settings.

Using the Park System

The park system allows convenient parking of the suction wand and floorhead during pauses. For storage, slot the floorhead downwards into parking attachments.

Maintenance

Always switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before maintenance. The Miele filtration system consists of FilterBag, motor protection filter, and exhaust filter, which require periodic replacement.

Troubleshooting and error codes

The vacuum cleaner switches off automatically. On certain models, the overheating warning light also comes on ⚠️.
A temperature limiter turns the vacuum cleaner off automatically if it gets too hot. This can occur if, for instance, large articles block the wand or when the FilterBag is full or contains particles of fine dust. A heavily soiled exhaust or dust compartment filter can also be the cause of overheating.
Turn the vacuum cleaner off immediately using the On/Off foot switch ①, and unplug it.
After removing the cause, wait for approximately 20 - 30 minutes to allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down. It can then be turned on again.
