Warranty Information

Miele guarantees functional spare parts for a minimum of 10 years, up to 15 years after discontinuation.

Control Panel: The control panel features a control field with sensor controls, time display, and indicator lights. Sensor controls for drying levels allow adjustment after programme selection. Indicator lights alert to emptying the condensate container or cleaning filters. DryCare 40 is for temperature-sensitive textiles. The PerfectDry indicator monitors residual moisture. The time display shows remaining programme time. Start/Add laundry sensor allows adding items mid-cycle. Sensor controls are used for Delay start, Time Dry/DryFresh, and programme selection. The programme selector switches the appliance on/off. MobileStart and Wash2Dry offer app-based control and connection to washing machines.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Time display shows programme progress and pauses. Programme paused The programme has been paused, e.g. to add laundry. Touch the Start/Add laundry sensor control again to continue.
Time display shows --:--. Programme interrupted The programme has been interrupted. Touch the Start/Add laundry sensor control to continue the programme or switch off the tumble dryer.
Time display shows 8.88. Programme terminated The programme has finished. Touch the programme selector to switch off the tumble dryer.
Time display shows an error code (F 01 to F 20, F 26, F 31, F 34, F 50, F 54, F 56, F 60, F 61, F 62, F 63, F 64, F 65, F 66) Fault Switch off the tumble dryer and switch it on again. If the fault persists, contact the Miele Customer Service Department.
Time display shows F 066. Severe blockage in ducting Clean the filters. If the fault persists, contact the Miele Customer Service Department.
Indicator light for emptying the condensate container lights up. Condensate container is full or not inserted correctly. Empty the condensate container. Ensure it is correctly inserted.
Indicator light for cleaning the fluff and plinth filters lights up. Fluff filters or plinth filter are soiled. Clean the fluff filters and the plinth filter.
Indicator light for cleaning the heat exchanger lights up. Heat exchanger requires cleaning. Clean the heat exchanger.
Unsatisfactory drying results
Laundry is too damp. • Incorrect programme selected. • Select a more intensive drying programme.
• Drying level set too low. • Select a higher drying level.
• Too much laundry loaded. • Reduce the quantity of laundry.
• Fluff filters or plinth filter are soiled. • Clean the fluff filters and plinth filter.
• Condensate container is full. • Empty the condensate container.
• Heat exchanger requires cleaning. • Clean the heat exchanger.
• Laundry not spun sufficiently. • Select a higher spin speed on the washing machine.
• The programme has finished prematurely. • Select a more intensive drying programme or a longer programme running time.
Laundry is too dry. • Programme running time too long. • Select a shorter programme running time or a lower drying level.
• Incorrect programme selected. • Select a less intensive drying programme.
• The drying level was set too high. • Select a lower drying level.
• The PerfectDry sensor is influenced by the calcium content of the water. • For programmes with selectable drying levels, PerfectDry dries the laundry precisely. The result is influenced by the calcium content of the water.
Laundry creased. • Too much laundry loaded. • Reduce the quantity of laundry.
• Laundry not removed immediately after the programme has finished. • Select a programme with an anti-crease phase or remove laundry immediately.
• Laundry is spun too little. • Select a higher spin speed on the washing machine.
• Laundry is too dry. • Select a lower drying level or a shorter programme running time.
The drying cycle duration is very long.
• Incorrect programme selected. • Select a more intensive drying programme.
• Too much laundry loaded. • Reduce the quantity of laundry.
• Fluff filters or plinth filter are soiled. • Clean the fluff filters and plinth filter.
• Condensate container is full. • Empty the condensate container.

Other problems
Tumble dryer does not start. • Programme not selected. • Select a programme.
• Door not closed properly. • Close the door properly.
• Delay start is active. • Wait until the Delay start period has elapsed or cancel it.
• Power supply interrupted. • Check the fuse/circuit breaker.
• Lock code is activated. • Enter the PIN code.
Drum does not rotate. • Programme not started. • Touch the Start/Add laundry sensor control.
• Door not closed properly. • Close the door properly.
Odours. • New appliance. • Run a "Freshen up" programme with damp cloths.
• Laundry not thoroughly cleaned. • Ensure laundry is thoroughly cleaned before drying.
• Fluff filters and/or plinth filter are soiled. • Clean fluff filters and plinth filter.
Water is leaking. • Condensate container not inserted correctly or is damaged. • Insert condensate container correctly. Replace if damaged.
• Drain hose is not properly connected or is damaged. • Connect drain hose securely or replace if damaged.
• Seals on the door or condensate container are dirty or damaged. • Clean seals or replace if damaged.
Replacing the plinth filter
• The plinth filter is clogged with fluff. • Replace the plinth filter.
Reactivating the plinth filter
• The plinth filter is clogged with fluff. • Reactivate the plinth filter (see page 61).
Checking the heat exchanger
• The heat exchanger is dirty. • Clean the heat exchanger (see page 61).
