Guide to the microwave

The microwave includes a door, door lock, control panel, turntable, cover, and boiling wand.

Control panel

The control panel features a timer and 24-hour clock display, power selector, time and weight selector, automatic program buttons, time of day button, timer button, memory button, stop/cancel button, start button/add a minute button/quick start button, and door open button.

Before the first use

Allow the microwave to acclimate for 2 hours after transport. Remove all packaging. Check for visible damage. Clean the interior and accessories. Do not remove protective film. Stick included short instructions behind the door.

Use

Open the door using the designated button. Place food in the middle of the turntable. Close the door firmly. Start a program by selecting power level and time. The turntable rotates automatically. The microwave can be interrupted or canceled. A warming function may activate after a program ends.

Quick-Start

Press 'Start /◆◇' for maximum power. Three preset times are available (30 sec, 1 min, 2 min). Pressing 'Start' repeatedly increases cooking time.

System lock

Lock the microwave to prevent misuse by pressing and holding 'Stop/C'. Reactivate to unlock.

Timer

The timer can be used independently or with a cooking program. Set time using the 'Time selector' and press 'Start'. The timer can be reprogrammed.

Automatic programs

Weight-dependent programs for defrosting, automatic cooking (frozen and fresh food), and cooking fresh food are available. Select program, enter weight, and the microwave calculates time.

Troubleshooting

If food cools quickly, use a lower power level and longer cooking time. If the microwave turns off due to insufficient air circulation, check for blockages. Allow to cool if overheated. Contact Miele Technical Service for other faults.
