Turning the Appliance On and Off
- Before first use: Allow the appliance to stand for 30-60 minutes before connecting to power.
- Turning On: Touch the On/Off button. The display will light up, showing the refrigerator temperature. The freezer temperature display will show dashes until it reaches below 0°C.
- Turning Off: Touch the On/Off button until all indicators go out. The sections turn off sequentially.
- Separate Section Control: You can turn the refrigerator or freezer section on/off individually.
- Settings Mode: Access settings by pressing specific button combinations.
- Button Sound: Turn the button sound on/off via settings mode (indicated by 'b').
- Safety Lock: Activate/deactivate the safety lock via settings mode (indicated by 'u') to prevent accidental turn-off.
- Extended Periods Off: Turn off, unplug, clean, and leave doors ajar to prevent odors and mold.
The Correct Temperature
- Importance: Correct temperature prevents spoilage and bacterial growth.
- Refrigerator: Recommended 39°F (4°C).
- Freezer: At least 0°F (-18°C) for freezing and long-term storage.
- Temperature Display: Shows refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
- Setting Temperature: Use 'V' to decrease and 'A' to increase. Settings flash during adjustment and display actual temperature after a delay. Allow 6-24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
- Temperature Ranges: Refrigerator: 36-44°F (2-7°C). Freezer: 6 to -15°F (-14 to -26°C).
- Display Brightness: Adjust via settings mode (indicated by 'd').
- Temperature Units: Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit via settings mode (indicated by 'F').
Alarm
- Function: Alerts to high freezer temperature or open door to prevent spoilage and energy waste.
- Temperature Alarm: Sounds if freezer temperature rises too high (e.g., due to loading, power outage). Alarm off button flashes red.
- Switching Off Early: Tap the alarm off button to silence temporarily. The alarm condition must end for signals to stop.
