Before using for the first time

Clean the inside of the appliance and accessories with lukewarm water and a little washing-up liquid, then dry with a soft cloth. Allow the appliance to stand for 1/2 to 1 hour after transporting before connecting to the mains. Switching on

The refrigerator and freezer sections switch on independently. Use a coin to turn the On/Off dial clockwise from the "0" position. The indicator lights will come on, and the appliance will start cooling. The interior light comes on when the door is opened.

Freezer section

Turn the On/Off dial clockwise. The alarm indicator light flashes, and an alarm sounds. The appliance starts cooling. Allow the freezer to run for a few hours before adding food.

Switching off the alarm

Press the alarm button. The alarm stops, but the indicator light remains lit until the set temperature is reached.

Ice pack

Place the ice pack in the top drawer or on the freezer tray. It is most effective after approx. 24 hours.

Switching off

Turn the On/Off dial anti-clockwise to the "0" position. The temperature display goes out, and cooling stops.

Switching off for longer periods of time

Switch off at the mains, withdraw the plug, defrost the freezer, clean the appliance, and leave the doors ajar.
