| The dosage of detergent is incorrect. | Ensure the correct amount of detergent is used. |
| The selected programme is not suitable for the degree of soiling. | Choose a more intensive programme if necessary. |
| White residue on crockery/glasses. | |
| The salt reservoir is empty. | Fill the salt reservoir (see chapter “Water softener”). |
| The water hardness level is set too high. | Adjust the water hardness level (see chapter “Water softener”). |
| The rinse aid reservoir is empty. | Fill the rinse aid reservoir (see chapter “Adding rinse aid”). |
| The rinse aid dosage is set too low. | Increase the rinse aid dosage (see chapter “Adding rinse aid”). |
| A dishwasher salt and rinse aid combination product is being used. | Dishwasher salt and rinse aid are separate products. Do not use combination products. |
| Discolouration on plastics. | |
| Certain foodstuffs contain natural dyes. | This is harmless and does not affect the stability of the plastic items. |
| Appliance not switching on. | |
| The appliance is not connected to the mains supply. | Ensure the appliance is properly connected to the mains supply. Check the fuse in your household electrical system. |
| The appliance is only partially emptying. | |
| The drain hose is not correctly installed. | Ensure the drain hose is correctly installed and not kinked. Ensure the vent valve is cut if necessary. |
| Water is leaking from the appliance. | |
| The appliance is not installed correctly. | Ensure the appliance is installed correctly and all connections are secure. Check the seal on the top edge of the appliance. |
| The inlet hose or drain hose is damaged. | Inspect hoses for damage and replace if necessary. |
