Precautions before Product Use: Read the manual before use. Back up important data regularly. Shut down the system completely before powering off.
Checking the Components: Verify all included components against the list (PC Main Body, Owner's Manual, AC Adapter, Power Cable). Clean the product with a PC-dedicated cleaning agent.
Product Tour: Familiarize yourself with the front (IR LED, Webcam, Status Lamp, Microphone, Keyboard, Touchpad, Power Button) and side (HDMI, USB-C/Thunderbolt, Headphone Port, Built-in Speakers, microSD Card Slot, USB Port, Security Keyhole) components of the notebook.
Connecting LAN Adapter: Purchase a LAN adapter separately. Connect it to the USB-C port and then connect the network cable.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Cause and Solution
Some of the Windows functions do not work normally or are not supported. Depending on the product, some Windows functions may not be supported. You may need to purchase separate hardware, drivers, or software. Update BIOS additionally. Windows Auto Update is always activated. Updating Windows may incur internet usage fees and require additional system resources. Refer to https://www.microsoft.com for more information.
Part of LG Software is not installed. The UWP app provided by LG Electronics can only be installed through the Microsoft Store. Access the Microsoft Store and search for the app to install it. For more information, refer to the LG Easy Guide of the LG PC Manuals.
The screen color does not display properly. Check if Reader Mode is on. If it is, turn it off. Go to Start button [>] All apps [>] LG Smart Assistant [>] Display Setting [>] Reader Mode and turn off. Reader mode and Night mode together can cause color distortion. Turn off Reader mode or change Night mode to [Off]. To turn off Night light: Press Start button [>] Settings [>] System [>] Display [>] Night light [>] [Off]. If the screen still has issues, contact LG Electronics service center. Reader mode adjusts brightness and color to resemble printed paper and reduce eye strain.
The power does not turn on. Check if the power cord is connected. Disconnect and reconnect the power cord, then press the power button. If the power is still not on, remove the adapter, hold the power button for at least 6 seconds to reset, then press the power button again.
The system stops during use or does not properly turn off. Remove the adapter and press the power button for approximately 6 seconds to reset the system. Once reset, press the power button again to turn on the computer. Caution: Unsaved data may be lost. Pressing the power button while the PC is in use may damage the hard disk or cause a system error.
The touchpad is not functioning properly. Press Start button [>] All apps [>] LG Smart Assistant [>] Dashboard [>] Touchpad. The touchpad may be in Touchpad Off (disabled) or Touchpad Auto (disabled when mouse is connected) state. Refer to the LG Easy Guide for touchpad settings.
The wireless network is not connected. Press [Fn] + [F6] to check if the wireless network device is turned off. Press [Fn] + [F6] to set airplane mode to [OFF]. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar to check if AP displays properly. Pressing [Fn] + [F6] toggles wireless network and airplane mode. You may not be able to connect to a secure wireless network; ask your administrator. Reinstall the wireless LAN driver.
I want to reinstall the driver. Press Start button [>] Settings [>] Apps [>] Apps & features. Remove the driver. Press Start button [>] All apps [>] LG Update. Use [Required Updates] or [Update list] to reinstall drivers.
An error message appears. Check if the system is infected with a virus or malicious code.
