Getting Started

Phone Battery

To install the battery, hold the phone face down, find the notch below the back cover, pry it open with your thumbnail, place the battery with contacts facing up, replace the cover by sliding notches into openings, and snap it shut.

To charge, connect the AC adapter to the microUSB jack and plug into a wall outlet. The battery icon indicates charge level. Recharge anytime.

Familiarize yourself with the phone's layout:

• Volume keys: Adjust ringer volume.

• Softkeys (Left/Right): Select displayed options (Settings, Contacts).

• Speakerphone key: Activates speakerphone and answers calls.

• Navigation key: Scrolls through lists and menus, with shortcuts for Browser, Games & Apps, Messages, and Media Gallery.

• Send key: Starts or answers calls.
\n
• Keypad: For dialing and text entry.
\n
• \* Shift key: Changes text mode, activates keyguard.

• End key: Turns phone on/off, ends calls.

• \# Space key: Enters a space, toggles silent mode.

• 0 Next key: Cycles through word choices.
