Getting Started

• Sliding Earpiece: The earpiece moves up and down. It must be up to use phone features. When down, the keypad is locked.
• Using the Battery: The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Charge it for maximum talk and standby time.
• Turning the Phone On and Off: Raise the earpiece, then press and hold the POWER key. To turn off, press and hold POWER with the earpiece raised, then lower the earpiece.
• Antenna: Raise the antenna for best voice quality.
• Charging the Battery: The battery charge level is shown on the display. Use only QUALCOMM chargers.

Basic Functions

• Function Keys: Learn the functions of keys like END, INFO, SEND/TALK, CLEAR, and number keys.
• Making a Call: Raise the earpiece, enter the number, and press SEND/TALK.
• Receiving Calls: Raise the earpiece if down, or press any key (except POWER or volume keys) if up.
