Installing the battery

  1. Hold the phone face down.
  2. Use your fingernail to pull the battery door away.
  3. Place the battery in the phone casing with the metal contacts toward the bottom.
  4. Place the battery door tabs in the openings near the top.
  5. Press the battery door until it clicks into place.

Charging the battery

  1. Connect the AC adapter to the jack on the bottom of the phone.
  2. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

Performing basic functions

  • Turn the phone on and off: Press and hold [POWER BUTTON] until the phone beeps or plays a tone.
  • Make a call: Enter the number and press [SEND BUTTON].
  • Answer a call: Open the flip and press [SEND BUTTON].
  • End a call: Press [END BUTTON].

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Phone does not turn on. Ensure the battery is installed correctly and fully charged. Press and hold the [POWER BUTTON].
Screen is frozen or keypad is unresponsive. Remove and reinsert the battery.
Cannot make or receive calls. Check signal strength. Move to an area with better reception. Ensure the phone is not in Airplane Mode.
Cannot connect to the Internet. Ensure you have a data plan from your service provider. Check your network settings.
Low call quality or dropped calls. Check signal strength. Avoid areas with obstructions or weak signals.
Battery drains quickly. Reduce screen brightness, turn off vibration and unnecessary alerts. Close unused applications.
