REFRIGERATOR USE

MAX COOL FEATURE: Assists with heavy ice usage, full grocery loads, or temporarily warm room temperatures. Pressing MAX COOL activates it, and the indicator light stays on for 24 hours unless manually turned off. The display will show 34°F (1°C) for the refrigerator and –5°F (–21°C) for the freezer. After 24 hours, it reverts to previous settings. HOLIDAY MODE: Designed for travelers or religious observances. Disables the ice maker and interior lights. Temperature and Deli Pan settings remain unchanged. Recommended to exit when no longer needed. If Max Cool was active, set points remain at 34°F (1°C) and –5°F (–21°C) until Max Cool times out. ENERGY SAVER™ FEATURE: Controls heaters in the hinged seal between doors to prevent external moisture. Press to turn on for low humidity. The ring around the control lights up. Press again to turn off if moisture collects. ALARM FUNCTIONS: - Master Alarm Reset: Pressing Alarm Reset turns off audio alarm and indicator light. A Master Alarm Reset can also be performed by pressing Cooling (ON/OFF) twice or power cycling the unit. - Door Open: If a door is open for over 10 minutes, interior lights turn off, Door Open icon flashes, and an alarm sounds. Alarm resets when the door is closed, but the icon continues flashing until temperatures stabilize. - Over Temperature Alarm: Activates if refrigerator temps rise above 48°F (9°C) or freezer temps above 15°F (–9°C) for over 1.5 hours. The display flashes the affected compartment. Audio alarm stops when temps normalize, but the indicator light flashes until reset. ICE MAKER: ON/OFF control is on the left side of the ice bin. Automatic shutoff stops production when the bin is full, but the control remains ON. Manually turn off by sliding the control down. DELI/CRISPER PANS: 42" model has two deli and two crisper pans; 36" model has one of each. The Ingredient Care Center panel above each deli pan offers Deli, Produce, Meats (Cold to Coldest), and Quick Chill settings. Meat Storage Guide: Provides recommended storage times for various meats before freezing. Leftovers should be covered tightly. Quick Chill Setting: Lowers the deli pan temperature below freezing for liquids for one hour.
