Switching the power ON (OFF): The power can be turned ON by pressing the play key of the CD player, the play key of the cassette deck, or the BAND key of the tuner. Pressing the ON/STANDBY key turns the power OFF, displaying only the time.
Selecting the desired output: Choose between TUNER (Radio), CD, TAPE, or AUX (External input). For AUX, ensure the connected component's manual is also consulted, and adjust AUX INPUT LEVEL if necessary. CD or TAPE playback starts automatically if a disc or tape is already loaded.
Volume adjustment: Use the VOLUME CONTROL knob. Quick turning adjusts volume more significantly.
