Turning On/Off

To turn the TV on, connect the power cord. The TV enters standby mode (red lamp). To fully switch on, press the Power button on the remote or TV, or select a program. The lamp turns green. To turn off, press the Power button to return to standby mode (red lamp). For a complete shutdown, unplug the power cord.

Initial Setup (APS)

Upon first use, an Auto Program System (APS) menu appears. Select language and country. Press Red to start APS, which automatically searches and stores channels. You can exit APS by pressing the Blue button.

Menu Navigation

Press MENU to access the Main Menu. Use arrow buttons to navigate and OK to select sub-menus. Use BACK to return to the previous menu.

Picture and Sound Settings

Adjust picture settings like Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, and Color in the Picture Menu. Adjust sound settings like Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance, and Hyper Sound in the Sound Menu.

Connecting Other Devices

Connect external devices like VCRs, game consoles, or cameras using Euroconnector or RCA jacks. Refer to the "Peripheral Equipment Connections" section for details.

PC Mode

Connect your PC to the TV using a D-SUB cable for PC input. Adjust picture position, size, and clarity in the PC Menu.

Teletext

Press the TELETEXT button to access Teletext. Use digit buttons to select pages or navigate through content.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Cannot turn the TV on TV/VCR/DVD switch not set to TV position Set the switch to TV position.
TV turns off shortly after turning on TV may be in standby mode Turn the TV on again. If it works, it's not a problem.
Cannot turn the TV off TV/VCR/DVD switch not set to TV position Set the switch to TV position.
Abnormal picture colors Incorrect TV system selected, or interference from external devices. Check TV system. Move TV away from speakers/audio equipment/neon lights. Adjust aerial direction.
Double pictures or ghost images Mountains or high buildings causing interference. Change aerial direction.
Picture or Teletext unrecognizable Incorrect frequency entered, or multiple peripherals connected. Check frequency. Disconnect one peripheral.
No image on display screen Aerial not connected properly, damaged cable, unsuitable plugs, or no transmission. Check aerial connection and cable. Ensure correct plugs are used. Check remote control buttons. Consult dealer if unsure.
No PC picture D-SUB cable not connected properly, or incorrect PC resolution. Check D-SUB cable connection and PC resolution (see page 28).
No sound Mute button pressed, or external speakers not connected. Press the "☑" button or adjust volume. Check external speaker connections.
Sound from only one speaker Balance setting is extreme. Adjust balance in the Sound menu.
Remote control not responding Batteries exhausted. Replace batteries.
Incorrect menu displayed Wrong menu selected. Press MENU to return to normal screen or BACK to the previous menu.
No solution / TV not working Requires professional repair. Switch TV off/on. If unresolved, switch off, unplug, and call service personnel. Do not attempt repair yourself.
