- Turning on/off the unit: Press POWER on the front panel or DVD POWER on the remote control.
- Inserting and removing discs: Press OPEN/CLOSE to open/close the disc tray and place the disc.
- Basic playback: Press PLAY to start playback from the beginning. Press STOP to stop playback completely. Press PAUSE to stop temporarily.
- Rapid advance/reverse playback: Use the SHUTTLE knob or the fast forward/rewind buttons on the remote.
- Resuming playback: Press RESUME to store the current playback position for later resumption.
