Troubleshooting and error codes

| Recording stops automatically. | Unit stops after 12+ consecutive hours for circuit protection. Turn off, wait, then restart. |
| The continuous shooting speed of still images is slow. | Repeated use can slow speed. SD card or recording conditions may affect speed. |
| The focus is not adjusted automatically. | Adjust focus manually in dark or low-contrast situations. Wipe the lens. Cancel manual focus in the recording menu. |

| The LCD monitor is difficult to see. | May be difficult in bright sunlight. |

| The recorded subject is too dark. | Use Backlight Compensation, "LIGHT", "NIGHT EYE", "GAIN UP", or adjust "BRIGHTNESS ADJUST" to "+". |
| The recorded subject is too bright. | Turn off Backlight Compensation. Adjust "BRIGHTNESS ADJUST" to "-". |
| The color looks strange. | Wait for colors to stabilize. Set "WHITE BALANCE" to "MANUAL" or adjust accordingly. |
| Other Problems | |
| The slider and operation buttons do not work. | Touch with fingers, not fingernails or gloves. |
| The unit operates slowly when switching between video mode and still image mode, or when switching the power on or off. | Copy files to computer and erase from unit. |
| The image is grainy. | Digital zoom enlarges image digitally. |
| The unit heats up. | Normal; unit may become warm with prolonged use. |
