  • Find My Earphones: Locate your FreeBuds earphones on a map and play a ringtone. This feature requires EMUI 11.0 or later, a HUAWEI ID, and the Find Device feature to be enabled. It is not supported on all earphone models or older devices.
  • Playing a Ringtone: If earphones are connected, playing a ringtone helps locate them. For FreeBuds Pro, one earphone ringing in the case cannot be stopped manually and stops after one minute.
  • Viewing Location on Map: Check the last known location of your earphones if disconnected. Earphones in the charging case are shown as online.
  • Setup and Use: Simply place earphones in the charging case to preserve battery. Regular charging is recommended.
  • Connecting: Open the charging case, press the button for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes to enter Pairing mode. Then, go to your device's Bluetooth settings and connect.
  • Audio Control and Calls: Earphones automatically play/pause audio based on wear detection. Control music, calls, and volume using gestures or button presses.
  • Dual Connection: Connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (not compatible with MacBook).
  • Noise Cancellation: ANC works best for low-frequency noises. Ensure a snug fit, clean earphones, and update firmware for optimal performance. Select appropriate noise cancellation modes in the AI Life app.

  • FreeBuds Pro 2/FreeBuds Pro: Pinch an earphone twice to play the next track and pinch three times to play the previous track.
  • FreeBuds 3: Double-tap the right earphone to play the next track.
  • Other earphones: Set shortcuts for more controls (such as playback of the next/previous track or voice assistant wake-up).
Adjust the volume FreeBuds Pro 2/FreeBuds Lipstick/FreeBuds 4/FreeBuds Pro: Swipe up or down to raise or lower the volume.
