Troubleshooting and error codes

Camera does not turn on Batteries are not installed or are discharged. Install fresh batteries or recharge the batteries. Use an optional HP AC adapter.
No images can be taken Memory card is full or not installed. Replace or add a memory card, or delete unwanted images.
Images are blurry Focus is not set correctly. Ensure the camera is focused properly before taking the picture. Use the focus lock or adjust focus settings.
Flash does not fire Flash is set to OFF or disabled. Set the flash to Auto or another appropriate mode.
Cannot connect to computer USB cable is not connected properly or the camera is not in the correct mode. Ensure the USB cable is securely connected at both ends. Turn on the camera and select the appropriate USB mode.
