The Honeywell HWF2V-COM is a commercial Fire Alarm communicator that upgrades fire panels using POTS to internet or cellular communication for central station connection. It connects to a fire panel's DACT and offers Cellular, IP, or IP primary/cellular backup reporting paths. The device monitors AC power and battery conditions, delivering signals to Honeywell's AlarmNet Network Control Center. During operation, it replaces the fire panel's POTS line, detects off-hook conditions, provides a dial tone, and captures contact ID reports for transmission to the central station over the internet or cellular network.
