Warranty Information

Refer to the warranty card or contact Honeywell for specific warranty information.

The HPF24S series are 6-amp and 8-amp power supplies and battery chargers that provide ADA-compatible strobe synchronization. They feature filtered 24 VDC outputs that can drive four Style Y (Class B) NACs, or can be configured for Style Z (Class A) with an optional module. The outputs can also be configured as 24 VDC resettable or nonresettable power outputs. Input circuits are triggered by reverse polarity of an NAC or a 12 VDC or 24 VDC power source. The units are compatible with 12 VDC and 24 VDC control panels.

The power supplies supervise NAC field wiring for short and open conditions, and monitor for AC fail, battery, charger, and ground faults. During an alarm condition, supervision is disabled, but other fault monitoring continues. Features include a lockable cabinet, power-limited outputs, optically-isolated input/control circuits, and a NAC Trouble LED. Synchronization types (System Sensor, Gentex, Wheelock) are selectable, and the units can operate as master or slave synchronizers.

Programming is done via DIP switch settings, allowing configuration for General Alarm, Split Alarm, Split Temporal, or Selective Silence modes. Auxiliary power output can be made resettable or nonresettable in General Alarm mode. The battery charger can be enabled or disabled. Output circuit 4 can be configured as an NAC or a door closer.
