Basic Operation Summary

  • Startup: Follow the procedure to start the printer. If a fault occurs at the beginning, refer to the troubleshooting section.
  • Shutdown: The printer has an automatic nozzle cleaning sequence. A "no-cleaning stop" option is available for immediate shutdown, but requires immediate post-shutdown ink ejection to prevent nozzle clogging.
  • Ink and Makeup Ink Management: The printer features an automatic replenishment system. Regular checks and replacements of ink and makeup ink are necessary, with specific intervals provided based on ink type and operating conditions. Proper storage and handling precautions are crucial to prevent fire hazards and ensure performance.
  • Printing: The manual details how to set print lines, format, and characters (fixed, dedicated, special, calendar, elapsed days, month, week number, Arabic). It also covers saving, recalling, and editing print data.
  • Environment Setup: Users can manage operations, set the user environment, date/time, password, and control executable functions.
  • Auxiliary Functions: Includes managing created print data, creating user patterns, copying data, calibrating the touch screen, and selecting languages.
  • Communication: Covers setting the communication environment, transmission specifications, and various standard communication functions for data transfer.
