Warranty Information
Warranty terms are stated on the warranty card or operating guide.
- Inserting/Removing Cassettes: Connect power source, press STOP/EJECT to open the cassette holder, slide cassette in with window facing you and arrow pointing to the holder. Push until latched. To remove, press STOP/EJECT.
- Camera Recording: Set CAM/OFF/VIDEO to CAM. Press REC/PAUSE to start recording. "REC" appears in viewfinder. Press again to pause. "-" appears.
- Instant Review: In record/pause, tap REW/REVIEW to play back the last few seconds in reverse then forward. Returns to record/pause.
- Playback: Set CAM/OFF/VIDEO to VIDEO. Use REW/REVIEW to find start point. Press PLAY. Adjust TRACKING if needed. Press STOP/EJECT when finished.
- Date/Time Setting: Power on, set CAM/OFF/VIDEO to CAM. Press DATE/TIME. Select month, date, year, hour, minute, AM/PM using F.FWD/REW/REVIEW and STOP/EJECT. Press DATE/TIME to finalize.
- Title Recording: Set CAM/OFF/VIDEO to CAM or VIDEO. Press TITLE. Use SHIFT to move cursor, -/+ to select characters. Press TITLE to store.
- Viewing on TV: Connect camcorder to TV using audio/video cable or RF converter. Set CAM/OFF/VIDEO to VIDEO, insert tape, press PLAY.
Troubleshooting and error codes
