Getting Started

This section guides you through the initial setup and basic operation of your TV.

Setting up

  • LOCATION: Place your TV near a power socket and aerial connection.
  • CONNECTION: Connect your aerial to the ANTENNA IN socket.
  • SWITCHING YOUR TV ON: Press the POWER button on the TV or remote control. Select your language and follow on-screen prompts.
  • TUNING YOUR TV: Access the tuning menu via the MENU button to perform Auto Search or Digital/Analog Manual Search.
  • SWITCHING TO AN EXTERNAL SOURCE OTHER THAN TV: Use the SOURCE button to select input devices like DVD players or PCs.

USING YOUR TV

  • How to select the TV program: Use the number keypad or P+/P- buttons on the remote.
  • How to adjust volume: Use the V+/V- buttons on the remote or the TV.
  • CH.LIST function: Access and manage your channel list.

ADJUSTING PICTURE SETTINGS

Navigate to the Picture menu to adjust Contrast, Brightness, Colour, Sharpness, Tint, Mode, Colour Temperature, Noise Reduction, and Reset settings.

ADJUSTING SOUND SETTINGS

Navigate to the Sound menu to adjust Balance, Mode, AVL, SRS TS XT, Digital Audio Output, and Equalizer settings.

FUNCTION SETTINGS

Access Function settings to configure Language, Subtitle Language, Display Mode, Blue Screen, Recorder, DCR, OSD Time Out, OSD Transparency, and Reset.

TIME SETTINGS

Set the Clock, Date, Off Time, On Time, Sleep Timer, and Time Zone.

LOCK MENU SETTING

Control tuner, program, source volume, etc., using the Lock Menu. Change password, set Child Lock, Tuning Lock, Source Set, Channel No, Source Lock, Max Volume, Initial Volume, and Parental Lock.

VIDEOTEXT FUNCTIONS

Access Videotext for information and subtitles. Use colored buttons, number keys, and P+/P- to navigate pages.

USB MODE

Connect USB devices to play photos, music, and movies. Supports FAT32 format.

RECORDING

Record DTV programs to a USB storage medium.

TIMESHIFT

Pause and rewind live TV in Digital mode.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No Picture, No Sound The power plug is not properly connected. An adequate power source is not being used. There might be a power failure. Check if the TV power plug is properly connected. Ensure you are using an adequate power source. Check for any power outages.
No Picture Incorrect signals are being input. The signal source may need to be changed. The TV may need to be restarted after a power interruption. Check if the correct signals are being input. Change the signal source via the remote control. Turn off and then on the TV after a power interruption.
No Sound MUTE is activated. The volume might be too low. The audio output might not be correctly set. Press the MUTE button to deactivate it. Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume. Check the audio output settings. Consult the manual for audio setting adjustments.
