Getting Started

Attaching the Camera Strap: Follow the illustration to attach the camera strap.

Inserting and Removing the Battery: Open the battery/SD card cover, insert or remove the battery ensuring correct orientation, and close the cover. Ensure the camera is off before performing this.

Charging the Battery: Position the camera on the docking station, connect the AC adapter to the docking station and then to a wall outlet. The docking station LED indicates charging status.

Inserting and Removing the SD Memory Card: Open the battery/SD card cover, insert the SD card in the correct orientation, and close the cover. To remove, press the card gently to eject.

Basic Operations

Setting the Date and Time: Use the MENU button to access Setup, select Date/Time, and adjust using the arrow buttons.

Choosing the Language: Navigate to Setup menu, select Language, and choose from the displayed options.

Formatting the SD Memory Card: In Setup menu, select Format and then Execute. This erases all data on the card.

Setting Image Resolution and Quality: In Capture menu, select Size and Quality to adjust image settings.

Photography Mode

Capture Mode: Press the POWER button, slide the mode switch to [ ], compose your image, and press the shutter button halfway to focus and then fully to capture.

Recording Voice Memos: In [ ] mode, go to the Function menu, select Voice Memo, turn it On, then capture an image. A [ ] icon indicates a voice memo is attached.

Using the Digital Zoom: Go to Function menu, select Digital Zoom, turn it On. Press and hold the zoom button to expand the image.

Setting the Flash: Toggle the flash button to select the desired flash mode.

Setting the Focus: Toggle the focus button to select Auto Focus, Macro, or Infinity.

Setting the Self-timer: Toggle the self-timer button to select a timer mode (10s, 2s, 10+2s).
