You can use either a Lithium Ion battery or an AC power adapter (5 V) to power on the camera. Battery power is convenient for capturing images or video clips while an AC adapter power is useful when transferring images to your computer.
To remove the battery: Open the battery/SD Memory Card cover and then release the battery lock lever. After the battery is slightly ejected, pull out the battery slowly.
Charging status indicators: Green: Charging start, Off: Charging end, Orange: Stand by, Red: Replace a new battery.
To remove the SD Memory Card: Make sure the camera is off, open the cover, press lightly on the edge of the card, and it will eject.
