Warranty Information

1-year full warranty on parts and labor, 5-year on sealed system, plus food spoilage coverage with limits.

  • Starting the Freezer: Clean inside, connect power, set temp control to 4, and allow to run for 4 hours before loading food.
  • Temperature Control: Settings range from 1 (warmest) to 7 (coldest). Adjust one step at a time and allow hours for stabilization. OFF stops cooling but not power.
  • Features: Power-On Light indicates electrical connection. Key-Ejecting Lock has a spring-loaded key.
  • Defrosting: Recommended twice a year when frost reaches 1/2 inch. Turn control to OFF, unplug, remove food, use hot water to loosen frost, drain water, clean, and restore.
  • Cleaning: Outside: Polish with appliance wax. Inside: Use warm water and baking soda solution. Use baking soda box to absorb odors.
  • Extended Power Failure: Keep lid closed, add dry ice if needed.
  • Moving/Vacation: Disconnect power, defrost, clean, secure items. For vacations, ensure power is on or move food.
  • Light Bulb Replacement: Unplug, remove screws, replace bulb.

Noisy operation or cabinet vibrates Floor may be weak, causing freezer to vibrate when compressor is on. Cabinet is not positioned solidly on floor. • Placing 2 X 4's (51 mm X 102 mm) under the length of the freezer will help support it and may reduce vibration.
• Adjust Legs. See Preparing to install the freezer. Or use shims for uneven floor.
Freezer temperature too warm Door/lid left open. Too frequent or too long door/lid openings. • Check to see if package is holding door/lid open.
