Turning Camera On and Off: Press the Power button to turn the camera on. To turn off, press the Power button again. After powering on, set the camera to Auto mode using the Mode Dial.
Setting Language and Date/Time: The Date/Time and Language setup page appears on first startup. Navigate to General Setup menu > Language and Date/Time. Use Up/Down buttons to select Language, press SET or Right button to enter setting mode. Use navigation buttons to select desired language, then press SET to confirm. For Date/Time, select it in the General Setup menu, use Up/Down to choose display mode, and Right button to select items to set. Use Up/Down to choose values and SET to confirm.
