Normal Operating Sounds:

Your dryer may make normal operating sounds such as suspension roller noise, air flow system sounds, clicking of the gas valve (gas models), and burner sounds (gas models).

Operating Your Dryer:

  1. Prepare load for drying: Sort similar fabrics, check for stains, place delicates in a mesh bag, and ensure items are heatproof.
  2. Check lint filter: Ensure the lint filter is clean and in place.
  3. Load the dryer: Load items loosely (1/3 to 1/2 full), add fabric softener sheets if desired, and do not overload. For large items, dry only two or three at a time.
  4. Select cycle and settings: Choose the appropriate cycle using the cycle selector knob. Auto Dry cycles use moisture sensors to determine drying time. Timed Dry cycles allow manual time selection.
  5. Start the cycle: Press Start. Items can be added or removed by opening the door; press Start to resume.
  6. End of cycle: Remove items immediately after the cycle ends and hang or fold.
