Option Selections: HEAT DRY enhances drying but may not fully dry items. AIR DRY saves energy.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause & Solution
Dishwasher Won't Run • Check circuit breaker/fuse. • Ensure water supply is on. • Verify cycle is set correctly. • Make sure door is closed and latched. • Press START/CANCEL after selecting cycle.
Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly • If connected to food disposer, ensure it is empty. • Verify knockout plug is removed from disposer inlet. • Assure drain hose isn't kinked. • Check if cycle is complete, not paused. • Ensure glass trap is maintained and installed properly.
Cycle Takes a Long Time • Cycle may lengthen to reach temperature (cool water, large load). • Choose lower temperature options. • Soil-sensing cycles adjust automatically.
Dishwasher has an Odor • Soiled dishes left too long: use Rinse Only cycle. • "New" smell upon installation is normal. • Check if unit is draining properly.
Stains on Tub Interior • Tomato-based soil can cause pink/orange staining (harmless, fades). Pre-rinse or use Rinse Only. No heat dry may lessen staining.
Opening the door during cycle • Press START/CANCEL and shut door immediately to resume within 10 minutes.
Dishware Chipped • Load with care, do not overload. Place delicate items in top rack. Load items securely. Ensure tall items clear tub top. Hand-wash fine china/crystal.
Dishware Stained or Discolored • Tea/coffee stains: Hand wash with bleach solution. • Iron deposits: May require a special filter. • Aluminum utensils: May leave gray marks; load properly. • High acid foods: Rinse by hand if not running dishwasher immediately. • Mixing stainless steel and silver: Can pit stainless steel.
Etching • Too much detergent (soft water) causes film-like damage. • Adjust detergent based on water hardness. • Lower water temperature (Normal Cycle).
Dishwasher Won't Fill • Ensure water supply is on. • Check overfill protector movement.
Detergent Left in Cups • Detergent may be old; use fresh. • Ensure dish load doesn't block dispenser. • Check cycle completion. • Ensure items don't prevent dispenser opening.
Vapor at Vent • Water vapor escapes during drying (normal). • Spilled rinse aid can cause foam/overflowing; wipe up spills. • Check if dishwasher is level.
Normal Sounds You Will Hear • Water fill, circulation, motor sounds. • Noticeable sound change when switching spray arms. • Pause when switching spray arms is normal.
Water in Bottom of Tub • Not normal after cycle complete. May indicate draining issue.
Dishwasher Leaks • Check door gasket seating. • Spilled rinse aid can cause foam/overflowing. • Check if dishwasher is level. • Avoid oversudsing.
