Warranty Information

Refer to the manufacturer's warranty documentation for detailed coverage information.

Important Safeguards: Read all instructions. Do not touch hot surfaces. Supervise children. Do not place in heated oven. Use extreme caution when moving. Do not use for unintended purposes. Ensure unit is properly closed. Do not fill over two-thirds full (half full for expanding foods). Be aware of foods that can foam and clog vents. Check pressure release devices. Do not open until cool and depressurized. Do not pressure fry. Turn heat down once pressure is reached.

Manufacturer's Recommendations: Keep children away. Never use with worn gasket. Position handles inward. Safety vent should point away from you. Do not fill over two-thirds full. Ensure gasket and valve are clear. Close lid properly. Open lid towards stove. Not for outdoor or commercial use. Not for medical sterilization.

Cooking Basics: Use at least 1/2 cup liquid (2 cups for >10 mins). Liquid creates steam. Never use oil as only cooking liquid. Do not fill over two-thirds (half for expanding/foaming foods). Can steam using a basket. Align lid marks, close, and lock. Turn valve to pressure setting. Heat on high, then lower to maintain gentle steam. Cooking time starts when steam appears. Use a timer. Adjust heat if steam is excessive or stops. Do not shake. For electric stoves, use two-burner or one-burner method for simmering.

Releasing Pressure: Natural release (remove from heat, let cool). Cold water release (run cold water over lid). Automatic release (turn valve to steam position). After pressure is released, unlock and open lid.

Care and Cleaning: Pot is dishwasher safe. Wash lid by hand. Clean gasket regularly. Store lid upside down. Check handles. Use authentic replacement parts.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM REASON SOLUTION
Lid jammed; won't open or close. Instructions not followed carefully. Do not force. Slide back, lift, realign marks. If still jammed, contact customer service.
Water leaking from lower handle. 1. Loose handle screws. 2. Gasket not oiled. 1. Tighten handle screws. 2. Wash, dry, and oil gasket regularly.
Pressure not building up (indicator not popping up). 1. Not enough liquid. 2. Improperly closed. 3. Valve dirty/obstructed. 4. Gasket issue. 5. Valve not in correct position. 1. Use proper liquid amount (min. 1/2 cup, max. half full). 2. Close properly for tight seal. 3. Clean valve periodically. 4. Ensure gasket is clean, well-positioned, and not worn. 5. Set valve to pressure setting.
Indicator up, but no steam from valve. 1. Not enough liquid. 2. Valve dirty/obstructed. 3. Burner heat too low. 1. Ensure adequate liquid. 2. Clean valve. 3. Increase heat to medium-high for gentle steam.
Gentle steam and condensation drops. Normal operation. This is normal. If excessive water gushes, see next problem.
Strong, forceful steam jet. 1. Burner heat too high. 2. Valve dirty. 3. Safety valve malfunctioning. 1. Lower heat for gentle steam. 2. Check valve for particles and clean. 3. Replace safety valve and contact customer service.
Steam escaping around lid edge. 1. Cooker too full. 2. Improperly closed. 3. Gasket issue. 1. Do not overfill (half to 2/3 full max). 2. Close properly for tight seal. 3. Ensure gasket is clean, well-positioned, and not worn; replace if necessary.
Cannot open after cooking. 1. Pressure still built up. 2. Pressure lock not moved to open. 1. Use quick or cold water release. Ensure indicator dropped. 2. Move pressure lock down.
Foods under-cooked. 1. Cooking time too short. 2. Quick/cold release used improperly. 1. Check recipe time; extend by 1-2 mins or simmer. 2. Use natural release for longer cooking time.
Foods over-cooked. 1. Cooking time too long. 2. Natural release used improperly. 1. Check recipe time; shorten by 1-2 mins. 2. Use quick/cold release for immediate pressure drop.
