Panel Basics

The fire control panel is operated by 6 buttons below the LCD. Access to functions requires a 4-digit user code. Initially, this is 3545.

Button Functions:

  • Button 1 (RESET): Returns the system to a normal clear condition, resets detectors and silences sounders.
  • Button 2 (SILENCE BUZZER): Silences the internal buzzer during a Fire or Fault condition.
  • Button 3 (SILENCE ALARMS): Turns off external alarm sounders. The panel still indicates fire, and the internal buzzer continues.
  • Button 4 (Up): Navigates up through the menu system.
  • Button 5 (Down): Navigates down through the menu system. (User access cannot enter the Engineers menu).
  • Button 6 (OK): Selects the highlighted menu option.

User Menu Operation

Access the User menu via the LCD display. Use buttons 4 (UP) and 5 (Down) to scroll through options, and button 6 (OK) to select.

Available User Options:

  • 1 Software Version: Displays the software version.
  • 2 Set Clock: Allows setting the system time and date.
  • 3 Isolate Sounder: Disables alarm lines, auxiliary relays, and zone powered sounders.
  • 4 Isolate Zone: Disables specific zones from detection.
  • 5 Zone Sound Test: Momentarily sounds sounders on individual zones (for 2-wire zones).
  • 6 Bell Test: Activates individual Alarm Lines repeatedly.
  • 7 Lamp Test: Illuminates all LEDs and sounds the internal buzzer.
  • 8 Walktest: Tests fire detectors and call points.
  • 9 Event Log To LCD: Displays previous system events.
  • 10 Override Delays: Immediately activates devices if 'DELAY ENABLED' is illuminated.
  • 11 Evacuate: Activates main fire alarm sounders, internal buzzer, and the 'General Fire' LED.
  • 12 Exit: Returns to the main fire system display.
