Electrolux declines responsibility for damages arising from improper use or tampering with the appliance.

  • Starting and Stopping: Press the button at the top of the unit to start/stop. With remote control, lightly press the Max or Min button to start and Off to stop.
  • Adjusting Suction Power: Use the Max-Min button on the unit or the Max/Min buttons on the remote control. Dark blue light indicates max power, light blue indicates min power.
  • Hose and Tube Assembly: Insert hose until catches click. Attach telescopic tube to hose handle and floor nozzle. Ensure remote control connector is fully pressed if applicable.
  • Cord Winding: Features automatic cord winder (autoreverse). Plug into socket and pull cord lightly to release catch.
  • Parking Position: Attach the tube to the rear of the vacuum cleaner when pausing. For storage, place the unit on end with the tube attached at the bottom.
  • Emptying Dust Container: Empty when it reaches the Max sign. Press release button, lift container, empty over a wastebasket, and refit until it clicks.
  • Cleaning Dust Filter: Clean when the filter light flashes. Turn off unit, open cover, lift filter holder, turn to swap filters, and rotate the left filter a full turn to clean. Wash filters annually.
  • Cleaning Exhaust Filter: Rinse Standard and HEPA filters in lukewarm water, tap to remove water, repeat four times. Let dry and refit.
  • Clearing Hose and Nozzle: Unit stops automatically if blocked. Unplug, let cool, remove blockage, and/or replace filter. Use a suitable implement or massage the hose.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
The vacuum cleaner does not start Check that the cable is connected to the mains. Check that the plug and cable are not damaged. Check for a blown fuse.
The vacuum cleaner stops Check if Twinclean is full. If so, empty it and clean both the box and the filter before putting it back in the cleaner. Is the nozzle, tube or hose blocked? Are the filters blocked?
Water has entered the vacuum cleaner It will be necessary to replace the motor at an authorised Electrolux service centre. Damage to the motor caused by the penetration of water is not covered by the warranty.
