Warranty Information

Refer to the service manual for specific warranty details and limitations.

OFF CONDITION

When the oven is plugged in, 240 volts A.C. is supplied to the control unit. The display shows 'WELCOME TOUCH CLEAR AND TOUCH CLOCK'. Press STOP/CLEAR to set the clock. Closing the door activates door sensing and secondary interlock switches. Opening the door turns on the oven lamp and starts the damper motor to open the damper. The damper motor stops when the damper switch signals the control unit.

MICROWAVE COOKING CONDITION

After touching START, relays close to power the oven lamp, turntable motor, and power transformer. The transformer outputs 3.3V AC to the magnetron filament and ~2300V AC for high voltage. Microwave energy is produced and channeled into the cavity. When cooking time ends, components are turned off. Opening the door during cooking turns off high voltage components, but the oven lamp stays on.

CONVECTION COOKING CONDITION

After setting temperature and time and touching START, the control unit energizes shut-off relays. The oven lamp, cooling fan, turntable motor, and convection motor are activated. The damper closes. Solid-state relays energize heating elements. Upon cooking completion, an audible signal sounds, and motors/lamp deactivate. The cooling fan may continue to run until the oven cools. If cavity temperature is below 250°F, the damper opens.

SPEED BAKE COOKING

Touching the BAKE pad and then cooking time, followed by START, energizes oven lamp, turntable motor, convection motor, and fan motors. The damper closes, and solid-state relays energize heating elements.

SPEED GRILL COOKING

Touching the GRILL pad and then cooking time, followed by START, energizes oven lamp, turntable motor, convection motor, and fan motors. The damper closes, and solid-state relays energize heating elements.

SPEED ROAST COOKING

Touching the ROAST pad and then cooking time, followed by START, energizes oven lamp, turntable motor, convection motor, and fan motors. The damper closes, and solid-state relays and RY2 energize heating elements and the power transformer alternately.

FIRE SENSING FEATURE (MICROWAVE MODE)

This feature stops oven operation if a fire is detected during microwave cooking (80% power or more). The LSI measures thermistor voltage. If the voltage difference exceeds 300mV, it indicates a fire, shutting off relays and closing the damper. The cycle can be resumed by pressing START or reset by pressing CLEAR.
