GET STARTED

  • SIM card, memory card and battery: Remove battery cover, insert SIM cards (micro SIM or 3FF SIM) into SIM1 and/or SIM2 slots. Insert battery with contacts facing down and right. Replace cover.
  • Charge the phone: Connect mains adapter to wall socket and charging socket. Remove protective plastic film from display.

GET TO KNOW YOUR PHONE

  • Turn on/off: Press and hold red button. Confirm power off with Yes. Enter PIN if required.
  • Predictive text: Enable/disable in Settings > Messages > Predictive text.
  • Calls: Dial by entering number and pressing , or by selecting from phonebook using . Press to end.
  • Receive call: Open flip and press to answer, or press Silent to silence ring, or close flip to reject.
  • Volume control: Use +/- during call.
  • Silent: Press and hold # to activate/deactivate.
  • Speed dial: Use 0 and 2-9 to speed dial. Add numbers in Phonebook > Speed dial.
  • SOS calls: Press and hold assistance button for 3 seconds or press twice within 1 second for SOS call.

MESSAGES

  • Create and send text messages: Press shortcut button or Menu > Messages > Create new > SMS. Write message, select recipient, and press Send.
  • Create and send picture messages: Press shortcut button or Menu > Messages > Create new > MMS. Write message, add picture, select recipient, and press Send.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Battery incorrectly installed Battery contacts facing wrong direction. Check the battery and the contact points on the battery and the charger.
Charger not accepted Charging interrupted, or battery is not charging. Check the battery and the charger. Check the installation of the battery.
PIN code entered incorrectly many times Incorrect PIN entered multiple times. Check the condition of the SIM card. If the SIM card is valid but protected with a PIN code, enter the PIN code and press OK. Delete with Clear. Note! If PIN and PUK codes were not provided with your SIM card, please contact your service provider. Attempts: # shows the number of PIN attempts left. When no more attempts remain, PIN blocked is displayed. The SIM card must now be unlocked with the PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key). 1. Enter the PUK code and confirm with OK. 2. Enter a new PIN code and confirm with OK. 3. Re-enter the new PIN code and confirm with OK.
SIM card error SIM card faulty or dirty. Check the condition of the SIM card. Clean the SIM card surface with a clean cloth.
SIM card dirty or damp SIM card surface is dirty or damp. Check the SIM card and its contacts. Clean the SIM card surface with a clean cloth.
No coverage or GSM service No network coverage. Contact the service provider.
Phonebook memory full Phonebook memory is full. Contact the service provider.
Function not supported or network error Function is not supported by the network or there is a network error. Contact the service provider.
Trouble connecting to the network Network connection issue. Contact the service provider.
