Camera Precautions

  • Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and unstable surfaces.
  • Clean lens with a soft cloth; avoid touching it with fingers.
  • If water or foreign substance enters, turn off and remove batteries.
  • Do not open camera or attempt self-repair.
  • Do not open battery compartment when power is on.
  • Transfer important images promptly.

Using the DSC-350F as a Digital Camera

  • Power On/Off: Press Power On button. Auto power off after 60 seconds.
  • Taking Pictures: Select Standard (0.9m-infinity) or Macro (25cm-30cm) mode. Press Shutter button.
  • Self-timer: Select Self-timer mode (icon appears), press Shutter. Camera beeps and takes picture after 10 seconds.
  • Flash: Select Flash mode (icon appears) for low light. Auto mode fires flash when needed. Can be turned off.
  • Continuous Capture: Select icon, press and hold Shutter to take multiple rapid photos.
  • Deleting Pictures: Select ALL to delete all, or Last Picture (LSE) to delete the last one.
  • Image Resolution: Select VGA (640x480) or CIF (320x240).
  • Shooting Environment: Select icons for Cloudy, Sunny, Indoor Bright, or Indoor Dark.
