Connecting to the Internet
Connect the D-Link DIR-605L router to your modem using an Ethernet cable. Plug in the power adapter and turn on the router. Access the router's web-based configuration utility by opening a web browser and entering http://192.168.0.1 or http://dlinkrouter in the address bar. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Internet connection (DHCP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP, or Static IP).
Wireless Setup
Configure your wireless network by setting a Network Name (SSID) and security type (WPA/WPA2). You can also use the WPS button for quick connection of compatible devices.
mydlink Service
Activate the mydlink service to monitor your router and online activity remotely using the mydlink app on mobile devices or the mydlink portal on PCs and Macs.
