The DE-220P Series Ethernet adapters are Plug and Play compatible, offering automatic configuration without user intervention. They support both 8-bit and 16-bit expansion slots and are compatible with Novell NE-2000 drivers. The adapters feature two LEDs for network state information (PWR/Tx and LNK/Rx) and can be used with various networking software including D-Link LANsmart, TCP/IP for DOS, and Windows for Workgroups. They also support an optional Remote Boot ROM. Installation involves inserting the card into an expansion slot and, for non-PnP systems, running a setup program.
