Getting Ready

1. Load batteries. (Page E-29)
2. Insert the memory card. (Page E-37)
3. Set the current time and date. (Page E-43)

Recording an Image

1. Remove the lens cap.
2. Align the exposure mode dial with A (Full Auto Mode).
3. Align the drive mode dial with 1-Image.
4. Align the power/function switch with [ON].
5. Point the camera at the subject, compose the image, and press the shutter release button halfway to focus.
6. When the image is in focus, press the shutter release button all the way down to record the image. (Page E-45)

Viewing an Image

1. Align the power/function switch with [PLAY].
2. Rock the control button left or right to scroll through images. (Page E-109)

Deleting an Image

1. Align the power/function switch with [PLAY].
2. Rock the control button left or right to find the image to delete.
3. Press AE-L.
4. Double-check to confirm deletion.
5. Rock the control button down to select "Yes" and click the control button. (Page E-119)
