Getting Started

Familiarize yourself with the camcorder by reading the manual thoroughly. Start by mastering basic operations before moving to advanced features.

Basic Recording

  1. Attach a power source and load a cassette.
  2. Set the POWER switch to the appropriate position (e.g., O for Easy Recording).
  3. Turn the standby lever to MOVIE.
  4. Press the start/stop button to begin recording. Press again to pause.
  5. Turn the standby lever to LOCK when finished.

Playback

  1. Attach a power source and set the POWER switch to VCR.
  2. Load the cassette.
  3. Press the PLAY button to start playback. Use STOP, FF, and REW buttons as needed.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No image appears on the screen. The LCD screen is closed with its screen side facing up. Open the LCD screen or adjust its angle.
Playback picture is distorted (mosaic-like noise). Dirty video heads. Clean the video heads using a cleaning cassette.
No sound from speaker. Camera is in camera mode or headphones are connected. Switch to VCR mode or disconnect headphones.
