1. Load batteries (mercury for electric eye, penlight for power drive/zoom).
2. Insert Super 8 film cartridge.
3. Adjust eyepiece for clear viewfinder image.
4. Set shutter lock dial to "R", aperture to "AUTO", and filming speed to "18".
5. Aim, focus using the focusing ring (telephoto first), and frame the shot.
6. Check exposure meter needle in viewfinder.
7. Pull the trigger to shoot. Use power zoom buttons or manual zoom knob for zooming.
8. For continuous recording, use the running lock feature or a cable release.
9. For remote operation, use a separately available remote control switch.
10. After shooting, stop when footage counter reaches "F" and unload cartridge.
