Loading the Camera: Open the camera, insert the film cassette, attach film to the take-up spool, close the camera, set the exposure counter, and advance the rapid wind lever twice. The camera is now ready for the first shot.
Unloading the Camera: Press the rewind button, turn the rewind knob in the direction of the arrow until the entire film is wound into the cassette. Open the camera and take out the cassette.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Solution |
| Film will not rewind back. | Ensure the rewind button is pressed throughout the rewinding operation. If no resistance is felt, the film may have pulled out of the cassette and requires darkroom intervention. |
| Exposure meter gives a warning sign (red dot). | The prevailing light conditions could not be metered. Exposure figures recorded cannot be used for setting shutter time. |
| Lens won't focus properly. | Ensure the focusing ring is turned correctly to make the double images coincide. Check that interchangeable lenses are coupled to the rangefinder. |
