2 Safety

• Qualification: Repairs must be performed by trained electrical engineers or comparably trained technicians.
• Information in warning messages: Utilizes danger levels (DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, NOTICE) and warning symbols to indicate potential hazards and severity.
• Basic safety instructions: Emphasizes systematic and safety-conscious procedures, including measures against electric shock, cut injuries, and protection of electronic components.
• Grouped safety messages: Provides specific warnings for exposed live components, charged capacitors, sharp edges, and sensitive components.

3 Design and function

• Process air circuit: Details the closed system of air flow through the drum, filters, evaporator, and condenser.
• Heat pump circuit: Explains the refrigerant cycle involving the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and capillary tubes.
• Temperature control with fan (cooling air): Describes how NTC sensors regulate the cooling fan based on ambient and component temperatures.
• Compressor: Explains its role in compressing refrigerant and the integrated Over Load Protector (OLP).
• NTC: Details NTC resistors and their function in converting temperature to electrical resistance.
