Warranty Information

The standard guarantee is 12 months, with a 10-year parts guarantee requiring registration.

Starting the Appliance

  1. Ensure interior is dry and air can circulate.
  2. Clean interior as per "CLEANING AND CARE".
  3. Plug into the wall socket and switch on electricity.
  4. Interior light will turn on when the door is open.
  5. Listen for compressor startup noise; it's normal.
  6. Front edges may feel warm; this is normal to prevent condensation.
  7. Do not load immediately; wait for the correct temperature to be reached.

Storing Frozen Food

  1. Store pre-packed frozen food according to manufacturer's instructions (**** rated).
  2. Put packets in the freezer quickly after purchase.
  3. Ensure contents are labelled and dated.
  4. Adhere to "Use By" and "Best Before" dates.
  5. In case of power failure (less than 13 hrs), do not open the door. Check food if failure is longer.

Freezing Fresh Food

  1. Do not freeze too large a quantity at once for best quality preservation.
  2. Do not exceed the appliance's freezing capacity in 24 hours.
  3. Placing warm food may cause continuous compressor operation.
  4. Fresh food can be placed anywhere in the freezer.
  5. Avoid mixing already frozen and fresh food.

Making Ice Cubes

  1. Fill ice cube tray 3/4 full with water.

  • Call Authorised Service to change the bulb/LED.
  • The lamp is not for household room illumination and must withstand extreme conditions.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Appliance does not operate. Plug is not inserted properly in the socket. Ensure the plug is inserted properly and the power supply is on. Check the power supply to the socket by plugging in another appliance.
Fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped/main distribution switch has been turned off. Check the fuse, circuit breaker, or main distribution switch.
The temperature control has not been set correctly. Set the temperature control correctly.
New plug is wired incorrectly (if you have changed the fitted moulded plug). Ensure the new plug is wired correctly. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
